Curator’s statement
The Resort at Paws Up in Montana holds a special place in my heart due to my memorable experience in September of 2021. Nestled within nature, their private homes offer an intimate retreat from the hustle and bustle of city life. The property is not just about luxury accommodations; it’s the combination of inclusive, gourmet meals and cocktails that truly elevate the experience. Beyond the culinary delights, the resort offers a plethora of activities that allowed me to immerse myself in the serenity of the Montana landscape. I would not only choose to revisit but would confidently recommend it to my clients seeking a tranquil haven amid nature.

Amid the sprawling 37,000-acre expanse of western Montana, Paws Up seamlessly marries the authentic charm of ranch life with the comforts of luxury. The two-bedroom Meadow home became my sanctuary, with evenings in the private hot tub under the vast Montana sky serving as a daily ritual of relaxation.
The sheer variety of activities made sure each day was both unique and thrilling. One standout experience was the ATV ride along the Lewis and Clark trail. Racing along the historic path with the ATV's engine humming beneath, I was treated to some of the most mesmerizing sunset views imaginable. This was nature at its most raw and beautiful. The guided horse trail ride was no less spectacular, winding through iconic Montana terrain, from the serene banks of the Blackfoot River to the sprawling meadows and whispering conifer forests.
Yet, Paws Up is not just about adventures, it's about memorable experiences. When a friend celebrated their birthday, the resort showcased its dedication to personal touches by crafting a customized cake, turning our celebration into a truly special moment. Culinary delights continued with dinners at Pomp that elevated local flavors and morning and afternoon rituals at Trough, where the huckleberry pancakes became a must-have and the French 75's were a perfect way to toast to the afternoon. As golden hour approached, the resort's BBQ dinner, set against the radiant backdrop of the setting sun, was an experience that embodied the spirit of Montana. Finally, the Spa was a haven of rejuvenation, where treatments were elevated by the soothing sounds of nature. My massage was nothing short of fabulous, especially after all the activities. Another memorable evening for us was when a private fire pit was arranged and set up for us at our cabin, complete with s'mores. All in all, Paws Up provided a canvas of experiences, each more memorable than the last.
