I would recommend just taking a cab or the train from the airport and not investing in a car. Barcelona is a very walkable city and the hotel is positioned in a spot where you can easily access city highlights in a matter of minutes. The hotel is five minutes from the hop on/hop off Barcelona bus tours, which can connect you to the entire city, as well as the metro system.
