“Nashville is an American gem. The music, the food and playful Southern charm are irresistible,” said Fora Advisor Tiffany Stone. “I love the vibe and design of the Bobby Hotel and Noelle Nashville, and the service at the Kimpton Aertson is truly exceptional.”
We’re covering all three hotels, plus a dozen more that are all within or near Downtown Nashville.
You can also connect with a Fora Advisor for personalized recommendations for the best hotels in Downtown Nashville (near Broadway or otherwise). They’ll work with you to understand your preferences, helping to matchmake you to the property that fits your style. Plus, they can unlock perks and upgrades at many of the top properties, too.
What part of Nashville is best to stay in?
Ultimately, this depends on your budget and preferences. Most visitors opt to stay near Broadway in either Downtown or Music Row, which is technically just outside of Downtown (and many of the best hotels in Nashville, TN are found in this area, too). The main neighborhoods in Downtown Nashville are Downtown Core, Capitol View, SoBro (South of Broadway), The Gulch, Rutledge Hill and Rolling Mill Hill. You’ll get a little bit of a different vibe in each area, but it’s worth noting that it’s relatively easy to get around if you are staying in the city center.
(Check out our local’s guide to Nashville if this is your first time in the Music City.)
Is it better to stay in Music Row or Downtown Nashville?
Both areas are fun, but Downtown is generally where to stay in Nashville if you want uninterrupted access to the city’s best nightlife. On the other hand, Music Row offers an inside look at the music industry along with a ton of venues. Traveling between the two areas isn't too difficult by car, but parking can be costly (Uber / Lyft tend to be more convenient). You can also opt to walk: it’s about 30 minutes between each location.
What’s the average price of a hotel room in Downtown Nashville?
Rates vary by hotels and throughout the seasons, but expect to pay rates that start between $150–$450 per night at mid-range and luxury hotels in Nashville.
You’ll typically find the best rates between late November and early March (though prices tend to spike around Tennessee Titans’ home games). Mid-March to May and September to early November are Nashville’s shoulder seasons: you’ll find decent rates and fewer crowds. Summer is peak travel season in Nashville, and comes with the highest rates.
