Kristyne Wada

I cant imagine having had this vacation without the expertise of Kristyne. I honestly believe it would have been a waste of time to go Japan without her help, so I’m thrilled that we didn’t have too! I couldn’t have created anything close to this experience on my own. So many details were managed seamlessly that it’s almost impossible to describe. But I’ll give a few examples: All of our train tickets, private drivers, tour guides, translators, breakfasts, entertainment, hikes, day trips, and allergy needs were managed. We knew what time to call taxis to the hotels, what to tip our private guides, and how to use our travel insurance when we needed it. Nothing was a question in our minds- we knew what would happen, when it would happen, and what we needed to do. It was so freeing to just trust Kristyne to take care of us. We definitely threw some challenges her way when we lost some bags, and even had to go to the hospital- but she took care of it when we needed it despite the time difference. We asked for a blend of busy and slow days, bigger cities and smaller towns, specifics, like sushi making lessons, and nature hikes and we asked if she had any suggestions. The hikes and resort in Izu may have been my favorite (but don’t make me choose!) Our guide, Yama was so informative, playful, friendly, and energetic! But to be fair all of our private guides were wonderful people! We made pottery, ate pufferfish, booked massages, etc. We had luxury meals, silly excursions, educational experiences, quiet time, and all of this without a single worry. During the planning process she initiated check-ins and was available for questions and adjustments to the itinerary. My partner and I are very different and she helped us to plan a trip that was equally pleasant to us both. She helped us to make decisions about where to splurge and where to budget. She was fun, friendly, and professional (a great combo when working with a travel agent). I have already told my friends about Kristyne and I feel confident they will have a great experience too!

This is our second time availing Kristyne's services to book a vacation. She is amazing, great at communicating and accommodating our requests. She always sends us various options to choose from (all amazing) and is very patient with any changing priorities and requests. She is also super helpful with booking activities, suggesting things to do in the area, and checks in during our stay to make sure everything is good. Love working with Kristyne, and hopefully will continue to do so for our upcoming vacations as well!

Working with Kristyne and the FORA team was a real joy.
