I was a big fan and take huge inspiration from Anthony Bourdain and try and go to some of the places he visited on his shows. Some of his best advice, which I follow to this day and like to impart on my fellow travelers is "if there's a special on the menu, order it."

Heading to Istanbul for two nights I had a unique situation and needed my travel agent to really help me out to guarantee me a room at this very popular hotel (the only one inside the airport). It took some serious effort on his part but he came through and my room was waiting for me upon arrival after a long day of travel. Exceptional service from both and the hotel. I would definitely stay there again and my trip to Istanbul was a great success.

Jason made sure everything was taken care of, with no unforeseen hassles. Upon arrival I received a room upgrade, a nice little box of salted caramels, and my coupons for complimentary in-room breakfast daily, along with a nice welcome letter from the manager. He checked in on me the following day, and them again after my departure to be sure my stay was as expected. 10/10
