I feel like I got lucky beyond belief finding Ali Widman. While she is renowned for her expertise with skiing in the Americas and in Europe, since I happen to live in Colorado my travel needs were (I thought) outside of her "professional sweet spot". Turns out I was wrong - she has an encylopedic knowledge of hotels and experiences the whole world over, has access to a great network of colleagues with whom she can trade queries for up-to-the-minute details globally, and responded without being disgruntled when my plans changed (and changed, and changed). As a former hotel development professional myself, I will confess to being "particular" about hotels and that didn't trip Ali up at all -- she hit it out of the park with everything I asked her for. Finally, we have found the BEST way to book a ski trip! Rather than spending hours researching and trying to figure our best resorts, best hotels, best restaurants, best ways to ship skis or to rent skis, we just let Alli tell us what she recommends. She understood what we were looking for and everything she recommended was just what we wanted. She went above and beyond and took a personal interest in our travel plans. It has everything you need to know all in one place - from purchasing passes to in-depth reviews of ski resorts with mountain guides, suggested itineraries, apres ski recommendations, travel tips, ski tips, packing lists etc. Booking this trip was stress-free and we felt confident that Alli, with her local contacts, was steering us in the right direction.
