The lobby sets the tone with plush, sage green lounge chairs that pair perfectly with the ornate golden columns and crown molding. Guest rooms take on a similar palette, with green accents and original details throughout. Rooms are sizable, with the base room category (One King Bed City View) clocking in between 310 and 436 square feet. Products by Who is Elijah and Beekman deck the bathrooms, while a Nespresso coffee machine provides a perfect first cup when relaxing in the most comfortable bed.

Junior Suites offer a cozy feel with a reading nook, while One-Bedroom Suites showcase a large living room area. The pinnacle of luxury, however, is the Presidential Suite, gorgeously decorated to a modern luxe vibe, with a stately master bedroom and matching media room, plus a lounge, dining room, wet bar, kitchenette, an orangerie outfitted with actual orange trees, a draping canvas ceiling and a corner fountain.

Guests of the hotel receive complimentary access to The Sporting Club at The Bellevue, an incredible facility boasting an indoor track, enormous weight and cardio floor, indoor lap pool, hot and cold plunge, basketball courts and more. The expansive locker rooms feature steam rooms and saunas, and a plethora of fitness studios decorate the halls. Though classes are offered to members first, guests can drop in when space is available.

In late 2025, Mr. Edison will open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. In 2026, a day spa is scheduled to open as well. In the meantime, the Pergola restaurant on the 19th floor provides a sufficient and approachable menu.

The event spaces on the 19th floor are as breathtaking as ever, while the Grand Ballroom stuns with a mix of modern and traditional decor that works seamlessly. One of the most surprising spaces might be the 12th-floor Conservatory, with its original tile floor and fountain adding so much character.

With its rich history and modern updates, The Bellevue is one the most elegant hotels in Philadelphia.
