The Mission Pacific is a JdV by Hyatt property located in the heart of Oceanside, California, right across the street from Oceanside's pier and the Pacific Ocean. It’s steps away from great bars and restaurants (Harney Sushi, Blade 1936, Stone Brewing) but it also has everything you need on site for an enjoyable stay.

Situated a stone's throw away from the beach, The Mission Pacific has stunning views of the water, especially from The Rooftop Bar. Their very own (you guessed it) rooftop bar is the only one in North County San Diego with unobstructed ocean views. Here, you can indulge in craft cocktails and small bites. The hotel has a 21+ policy at sunset for a fun nightlife setting. In addition to The Rooftop Bar, The Mission Pacific also hosts Valle, a Michelin Star restaurant that combines local California ingredients to create a mouth-watering Baja-inspired prix-fixe tasting menu paired with wine from Valle de Guadalupe, Mexico’s wine country.

The Mission Pacific Hotel offers tons of activities to keep their guests entertained. The kids can enjoy activities such as tie-dying shirts, scavenger hunts and arts and crafts, while the adults can take advantage of their workout classes, cocktail making classes, fire pit rentals and wine and paint experiences. The Mission Pacific also has a gorgeous pool on their rooftop with cabana rentals and occasional events. Their partner hotel, The Seabird, is right next door, and guests are free to use any of their facilities as well, including their spa.

The 161 rooms at The Mission Pacific range from 337 to 1,290 square feet, and many of them feature balconies with ocean views. Each of these hotel rooms are smartly designed with modern and beach-like touches. Whether you need a king bed, two queen beds or a two-bed two-bath suite, The Mission Pacific can accommodate.

Need to know

The Mission Pacific Beach Resort is a wonderful North County San Diego hotel with a friendly and accommodating staff and great amenities. It’s also a dog-friendly hotel for those looking to travel with their furry companions. The design, location and beachfront views are unmatched with pricing that is fairly reasonable when compared to other oceanfront hotels in Southern California. Whether it's a girls trip, a family vacation or a romantic getaway, this hotel delivers. As the cherry on top, The Mission Pacific is one of Fora’s partner hotels, so we are able to score our clients some great perks for free!
