We explored the area and walked up to Bron Yr Aur. The autumn colors were exquisite and the tiny country roads with hedgerows and sheep everywhere were full of character and color.
The rooms at the Inn are very well-kept, clean, nicely designed and the bed very comfortable.
The food is amazing. We enjoyed the breakfasts and dinners, including smoked salmon and haddock, tender meats, delicious homemade soups and bread, roasted chicken, lamb with roasted potatoes and seasonal veggies. Everything was so good.
The staff were so kind and accommodating. We enjoyed our chat with Kevin, the owner. He is a great storyteller and was happy to help us plan our day and give us information about the area.
There are several public sitting rooms in the inn that you can relax in and read or watch TV.
Need to know
We were so happy to find this gem and highly recommend it as the finest place to stay in the area. It is the perfect base.
