I love beautiful places, and the Higgins Hotel, New Orleans, stands as a tribute to the 1940s era, specifically designed to echo the period of World War II. As an interior designer, it piqued my interest as it is a departure from the typical New Orleans style but still embraces historical charm. Its architecture and design reflect the period's style, creating a vibe that truly takes you to another time.

Location, location, location! Nestled in the vibrant Arts/Warehouse District, the Higgins Hotel is your gateway to explore New Orleans. Just steps away from the WWII Museum and a short walk to the French Quarter you can take a deep dive into history that shaped our modern world and then go deep dive into several beignets at Café du Monde. Followed by drowning yourself in Sazeracs at The Sazerac Restaurant in the Roosevelt Hotel!

Although convenient to stumble back to, the rooms at the Higgins Hotel are not just spaces to crash after a long day of exploring New Orleans. They’re havens crafted with a meticulous attention to detail. And let’s not forget amenities - with modern luxuries seamlessly integrated into each room, your stay is as comfortable as it is memorable. Dining options within the hotel pay homage to New Orleans' rich culinary legacy. They keep it authentic with local flavors, but as you can guess… add a historical twist!

Need to know

In a nutshell, the Higgins Hotel is where you come to live out your throwback New Orleans dreams without giving up the modern perks. It’s for those who love a good story as much as a good night’s sleep. The Higgins Hotel is the history lesson you never knew you needed, complete with room service!
