Curator’s statement
I remember my first time traveling to Mexico from the United States. for a girls trip. I actually flew solo and with it being my first time traveling internationally, I just imagined myself getting lost in the airport due to language barriers. Luckily, Mexico’s airports are very tourist/English-friendly, and that should be the least of your worries when traveling to Mexico from the U.S. And since then, I’ve been to Mexico a number of times on both the Atlantic and Pacific coasts. Mexico’s a great option when traveling with a group of friends. There are several all-inclusive resorts, plenty to do, and easily accessible with nonstop flights from major US cities.

Resort Details
I had the opportunity to visit Hard Rock Los Cabos in October 2020 (yes, that year), and we had such an amazing time. With eight restaurants, six pools and a bowling alley – there’s something that will interest everyone in your friend group.
For music lovers, Hard Rock’s all-inclusive resorts are a great option. Reserve a Fender guitar or pick up a turntable to rock out to classic albums in your guest room. The love of music is everywhere around the resort: from famous quotes/lyrics on the walls to musician artifacts up for display. And don’t forget about the live performances all throughout the day at the pool and at night around the resort.
The Rock Spa was one of my favorite spa experiences while traveling. I booked a Rhythm and Motion massage and was able to choose a playlist for my treatment. Above my head, there was a sound dome that fully immersed me in the music while getting my massage. The next level aspect: the massage table vibrated at moments that paired perfectly with the music. Total bliss!
Rooms
All rooms and suites here have a refreshing, modern feel. The terraces have a hydro spa tub. My room was facing one of the outdoor entertainment venues, so we were able to catch a few shows from our balcony & not even leave the room.
For an extra-VIP feel, book a room in the Rock Suite category. Not only are these prime rooms on the property, you’ll get amenities like: VIP check-in, a personal assistant to assist with your tours and reservations and so much more. Really want to go all-out? The two and three-bedroom Rock Star Suites are perfect for a friend group traveling together and looking to stay in the same room. These suites can hold seven or 11 guests, respectively, and include a huge terrace with a four-person spa tub, sofa for up to 12 people, pool table and a bar.
