One Night Stay at the Sheraton Park Hotel at the Anaheim Resort
Curator’s statement

On August 27th, I stayed at the Sheraton Park Hotel for one night and was able to do a site inspection of the property. The property was remodeled in 2022 and appears open and welcoming to guests. The resort is situated right across the street from the Toy Story parking lot for those who want quick access to the Disneyland Resort and is located 0.3 miles away from the Anaheim Convention Center.

Interior of the hotel kitchen area

The Sheraton Park Hotel at the Anaheim Resort is a four-star property located between the Disneyland Resort and the Anaheim Convention Center. It is a 45-minute drive from the Los Angeles Airport and a 20-minute drive from the John Wayne Airport. The lobby, guest rooms and banquet rooms were all remodeled in June of 2022. The resort has fourteen banquet spaces and the largest is the Park Ballroom, which is 11,000 square feet of open space that can fit 700 people or 70 round tables. Behind the banquet rooms, you will find the outdoor/courtyard area that can also be used for events. The courtyard is a great location for weddings and small events that can fit 20–30 tables for dining.

Pool

The resort has a moderately sized pool, which is great for kids and families. They have three cabanas with lounge sofas for rental that can be booked through resortpass.com that costs $163/day. When you order food for poolside service, it is prepared by the hotel’s restaurant Savor.

Laundry

Many guests staying here stay for prolonged periods of time. There is a laundry room located next to the gym. There are four washers and four dryers. You can pay via credit card or Apple Pay.

Gym

Located on the main floor next to the laundry room. It has air conditioning and updated exercise equipment that includes weights, stationary bikes and treadmills.

Standard rooms

There are 380 standard rooms that have two queen beds and only half of the two queen bedrooms have a tub. There are less than 100 standard rooms with king beds and there are no tubs in king rooms. There are two view options for the standard rooms. One is with a firework view and the other is a park view of the Disneyland Resort. Half of the standard rooms in the resort are able to connect with each other. Each standard room can hold up to four adults and one infant.

Suites

There are only ten suites that can accommodate five guests. The suite has a king bed and a queen pull-out. You can request a rollaway bed. Suites are mostly used for group or contracted bookings. You are not able to use your points, rewards or upgrades to book a suite.

Accessibility

There are seven ADA-compliant standard rooms and one suite for accessibility. There are also six rooms, including a suite for the hearing impaired.

  • King - Accessible king, hearing impaired - four rooms available

  • King - Accessible king, roll-in shower - one room available

If you book a room with concierge services, the lounge is located in the main lobby. It serves continental breakfast from 7-9 am and happy hour is between 5-7 pm. Snacks and drinks are included, but cocktail drinks are at $5 a glass at the club lounge.

Pets

The Sheraton is a pet-friendly resort. They accept one pet per room with a max of 40 lbs. The pet rooms are located on the ground floor near the laundry room. There are only three rooms available and each room has a courtyard. There will be a nonrefundable $100 fee. They offer bedding and water bowls for guests' pets, with the request upon check-in at the front desk.

Restaurant

Savor is the hotel’s main restaurant located on the main floor. It was also renovated in 2022. This American cuisine provides for the pool service. In the morning hours, they serve a buffet breakfast (open dates vary depending on number of guests). $26 for adults and $14 for kids between the hours of 6-11 am. In the afternoon and evening hours, guests can order their own customizable pizza, which is great for kids.

Morton's Steakhouse is part of the Sheraton property. Is is located outside the main building. Reservations are highly recommended.

Mini market

The World Market sells quick bites, Starbucks coffee and is combined with a souvenir gift shop. It is open from 6:30 am - 11 pm.

Need to know

I recommend the Anaheim Sheraton for guests that need close access to the Anaheim Convention Center without the large crowds. This hotel is also ideal for families and guests who plan to visit the Disneyland Resorts who plan to stay for a short weekend or for longer periods of time.
