Curator’s statement
My husband and I booked a spontaneous trip to Cabo for my birthday and we ended up staying at the Garza Blanca Los Cabos. The reason we chose this property was because it was about 25 minutes from the airport. It was All-Inclusive and we saw great rates for their One-Bedroom Suites. We were only in Cabo from Friday night - Sunday afternoon, so we knew we wanted a property where we didn't have to leave. I am so so pleased to report back, this weekend was everything & more — it was perfect for what we wanted out of our weekend (great food, great views and a great room). We are already planning to head back, but with friends next time! We noticed this was a great resort for groups or families as well.

Once we landed at SJD, we headed for our private transfer. The best part about Cabo is the easy (and cheap) private transfers that come equipped with drinks. Upon arrival at Garza Blanca, cold towels and cold water greeted us. It was hot! They took our luggage and we headed over to check-in. As a travel agent, they thanked me for choosing their property and we chatted about my time previously spent in Cabo. I was pleased to find out this Garza Blanca property is one of their recently renovated properties — which is always music to my ears.
They gave us our room key and a welcome cocktail, as we waited to meet our Butler for the weekend. Our butler was available at all hours, via WhatsApp — they even asked if we wanted them to draw us a bath after dinner! Total luxury and I really didn't feel like the price I was paying was worthy!
There were many major restaurants on site. Our favorite was definitely the new Italian rooftop. The drinks were amazing, the food was fantastic and the view! CHECK.
I'm not even going to lie, the first night we got there we ate at two different restaurants and ordered room service. We were only there for two nights, so we really wanted to try it all! Room Service was quick, and unlike most AI's they give you bottles of wine! Major score if you're like me and allergic to beer. (The fridge is stocked with sodas, water and beer upon arrival — if you work with me and prefer something else, I'll be sure to let your Butler know!)
The steakhouse was super special. Everything on the menu was so well prepared and for an All-Inclusive menu, I really was impressed.
The only food outlet I say is worth skipping (unfortunately), the Seafood Food Truck. There's just so many better options at the resort.
Need to know
Key Takeaways are this is a great All-Inclusive option that doesn't necessarily have the luxury price point its neighbor Grand Velas has — but the food, service and views make it absolutely worth it. I met many people throughout my stay that previously stayed at GV and prefer Garza Blanca!
This property is great for families. They had an amazing Kids Club that I was jealous about. They have penthouse suites that have 2–3 bedrooms, making this an amazing location for a group trip too.
