My Stay at The Four Seasons in Jakarta, Indonesia
Curator’s statement

I stayed at the five-star hotel in February of this year, and it was such a warm and luxurious stay. The hotel offers an unparalleled experience for travelers looking for both business efficiency and leisurely comfort. Stepping through the grand doors, you are greeted by a marble-clad lobby adorned with beautiful flowers, creating an atmosphere of refinement and warmth.

All-suites hotel

The Four Seasons Hotel Jakarta offers 125 spacious suites, each designed as a sanctuary of comfort and luxury. Drawing inspiration from Jakarta’s rich history and cosmopolitan culture, the hotel blends European influences with Indonesia's modern design. Ranging from the Executive Suite to the lavish Presidential Suite, these accommodations are defined by their generous space, elegant décor and thoughtful amenities. Every suite features expansive windows, marble bathrooms and high-speed internet, ensuring guests enjoy both comfort and connectivity.

Food & drinks

The Four Seasons Jakarta counts with six food options: Palm Court (where breakfast is served) Alto Restaurant & Bar (the 20th floor restaurant headed by chef Marco Violano). The Nautilus Bar (to enjoy signature cocktails, artisanal single malts and small plates), La Patisserie (beautiful pastel-colored pastry shop), Dolcetto (gourmet coffee, sandwiches and pastries) and the Pool Bar (serving light meals).

The hotel places a strong emphasis on wellness, providing a range of facilities designed to rejuvenate and relax guests. The spa, inspired by traditional Indonesian therapies, offers a comprehensive menu of treatments designed to pamper the body and soul. The fitness center, equipped with the latest exercise equipment, ensures guests can maintain their fitness routines while traveling. The outdoor swimming pool offers a serene oasis in the urban jungle, perfect for an early morning swim, fun with the kids, or a relaxing afternoon dip.

Interesting facts

An interesting fact about the Four Seasons Hotel Jakarta is its connection to local culture through art. The hotel features an extensive collection of contemporary Indonesian artworks, showcasing the country's rich cultural heritage. Walk through the curated collection of local art that tells the archipelago's history, enhancing the hotel's aesthetic and giving guests a deeper connection to Indonesia's vibrant artistic scene.

Another thing I found interesting are the two slightly different fauteuils in the room, one for a male guest, and one for a female guest (with a small decoration on the back rest).
