Sampling the Sierra Foothills: Apple Hill, El Dorado County’s Gold Country
Curator’s statement

Apple Hill is known regionally as the quintessential fall harvest haven. As leaves begin to turn in the Sierra Foothills, Apple Hill welcomes visitors to farms, wineries and produce growers to share in some of the best of California’s bounty. Pumpkins, pies and fresh apple cider mingle with seasonal vegetables, homemade jams and the delectable donuts at the many bakeries that dot the area. While Fall celebrates the season, guests can make trips to Apple Hill year-round.
