Las Vegas 5 Star Hotels on the Strip
Curator’s statement

Las Vegas is one of the very few destinations that I’ll visit over and over again. It’s a short flight from much of the US and offers a variety of experiences that are hard to find anywhere else. It also offers a high level of luxury at an approachable price point compared to other major US cities due to its exquisite 5 star hotel inventory. In this guide, I will focus on Las Vegas 5 Star hotels on the Strip and what each has to offer. Reach out to me to book your next luxury stay in Las Vegas!

There is no shortage of accommodation options in Las Vegas. I prefer to stay on the Strip in the center of the action, where you can find the best dining and entertainment Sin City has to offer. The number of hotel options at different price points can be overwhelming when planning a trip. One thing I enjoy most about Las Vegas is trying different hotels and comparing what they have to offer. Here are some of my favorite 5 star hotels on the Strip:

Wynn Las Vegas

Location: The Wynn is located on the North end of the Strip near the Fashion Show Mall.

What makes it unique: Wynn Las Vegas is renowned for its elegant modern design and sophisticated atmosphere. The resort has a beautiful lake and gardens lit with twinkling lights, offering a serene escape from the noise of the Strip. Wynn and its sister resort, Encore, also have ample luxury shopping in the Esplanade, where I enjoy walking up and down just to enjoy the beautiful lights and displays.

Why I love It: The luxurious rooms with floor-to-ceiling windows, plush bedding and spacious bathrooms. The service at the Wynn is impeccable and highly rated, which is why it’s one of the highest-priced hotels on the Strip.

Dining & entertainment: Wynn features an array of dining options, including the acclaimed SW Steakhouse, Mizumi for Japanese cuisine and Costa di Mare for seafood. Plus my favorite restaurant in Las Vegas, Lakeside, features the mesmerizing Lake of Dreams show. Enjoy the beach club during the day and XS Nightclub at night.

Cosmopolitan Las Vegas

Location: The Cosmopolitan is located right in the center of the Strip between the Bellagio and Aria, which means many of their rooms offer stellar views of the famous Bellagio Fountain.

What makes it unique: The Cosmopolitan is known for its chic, contemporary style and vibrant atmosphere. It offers a unique blend of luxury and modernity with its stylish decor and art installations. The best way I can describe the lobby decor is “black glitter,” and to me, the Cosmopolitan is the ideal hotel for a girls' trip.

Why I love it: I love their spacious suites with private terraces. The hotel’s eclectic vibe and lively social scene make it a favorite among younger travelers.

Dining & entertainment: The Cosmopolitan features a diverse range of dining options, from the innovative dishes at é by José Andrés to the delicious offerings at Beauty & Essex. Entertainment includes the Marquee Nightclub & Dayclub and the Opium Show, which offers a quirky and unforgettable experience. If you choose this hotel, I will fill you in on some of the secret dining experiences offered here!

Aria Las Vegas

Location: Aria is set back from the center of the Strip between the Cosmopolitan and Park MGM.

What makes it unique: Aria stands out with its sleek, modern architecture and cutting-edge technology, including tablets that control the lighting and drapes in every room.

Why I love it: I love the spacious, tech-forward rooms with floor-to-ceiling windows, offering stunning city and mountain views for great sunsets. I also love the hotel’s focus on sustainability.

Dining & entertainment: Aria’s dining options include the critically acclaimed Carbone, Bardot Brasserie and Javier’s. I highly recommend dining at Cathedrale, where we enjoyed live music and an epic dessert menu. Aria’s pool makes you feel like you’re far from the Strip with lush greenery and amazing cabana options.

Four Seasons Las Vegas

Location: The Four Seasons is located on the South end of the strip next to Mandalay Bay.

What makes it unique: Four Seasons Las Vegas offers a tranquil, non-gaming sanctuary amid the vibrant city. This hotel is renowned for its refined elegance and personalized service.

Why I love it: I appreciate that it's peaceful, with spacious rooms and panoramic views of the desert and mountains. The attentive, personalized service stands out. This is the right choice for those who want to enjoy Las Vegas without walking through a casino floor every time they go to their room.

Dining & entertainment: The Four Seasons features several fine dining options, including the elegant Veranda and the sophisticated Charlie Palmer Steak. Guests also have access to the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino amenities, including the Shark Reef Aquarium and the Mandalay Bay Beach.

The Palazzo at the Venetian

Location: The Palazzo is attached to the Venetian Resort across the street from the Fashion Show Mall on the North end of the Strip.

What makes It unique: The Palazzo offers Italian-inspired luxury with its detailed architecture and opulent decor. It’s an all-suite hotel offering some of the most spacious rooms on the Strip.

Why I love it: I love the luxurious suites with separate living areas, marble bathrooms and plush bedding. The Italian theme is a fun part of the experience of staying at The Palazzo. We booked this hotel for all our wedding guests when we got married in Las Vegas last year and everyone commented on the large bathrooms with dressing tables.

Dining & entertainment: The Palazzo features exceptional dining options, including CUT by Wolfgang Puck and SUSHISAMBA. Entertainment options include the iconic Venetian gondola rides. TAO Nightclub is one of my favorite nightclub options in Las Vegas.
