Review of Grand Velas Riviera Maya - A Paradise for Families with Babies and Toddlers
Curator’s statement

My husband and I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Grand Velas Riviera Maya with our 11-month-old son, and I must say, it exceeded all our expectations as a family-friendly resort. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the attention to detail and the thoughtfulness of the staff towards families traveling with young children.

From the moment we landed Grand Velas made our trip perfect starting with a convenient car service provided by the resort, complete with car seats for our little one. This made our airport pickup seamless and stress-free, setting the tone for a relaxing stay. The resort's commitment to families was further demonstrated by their range of amenities tailored specifically for babies and toddlers.

The Baby Concierge service at Grand Velas Riviera Maya truly made traveling with a baby effortless. In our room, we found everything we needed: a crib, high chair, baby bathtub, stroller, bouncer, bottle warmer, bottle sterilizer, bath toys, bottle brush, and bibs. This level of service allowed us to focus on enjoying our vacation while ensuring our son was comfortable and well-cared for.

Dining options at the resort were equally impressive. The restaurants not only offered delicious meals for adults but also had excellent kids' menus with child-friendly options. Room service went above and beyond by providing baby purées, making it easy for us to feed our little one even when dining in our room.

The family pools at Grand Velas Riviera Maya were perfect for young children. We particularly enjoyed the Zen Pool, which had shallow areas ideal for toddlers to splash around in. The main pool also had baby cabanas, providing shade and a comfortable spot for us to relax together as a family.

What truly made our experience exceptional was the outstanding service from the resort staff. Everyone we encountered was not only friendly and accommodating but also genuinely helpful when it came to navigating the resort with a baby in tow. From restaurant staff to housekeeping, their warmth and attentiveness made us feel welcome and well taken care of throughout our stay.
