Curator’s statement
In August 2023, I did a site inspection while staying at the fabulous Ritz Carlton Sarasota. It is a gorgeous hotel in a fabulous location where you can walk to restaurants and activities and then indulge at the private Beach Club.

The Ritz Carlton Sarasota is a 276-room property in the center of Sarasota. A quick 15-minute car ride from Sarasota airport, the hotel is a perfect home base for everything. Relax on the beach, enjoy Sarasota's wonderful dining and arts scene or just relax at the pool.
There are 32 suites, which means that you could have a great chance of getting upgraded if you book with a Fora advisor! Suites are 625 sq-ft and have 1.5 bathrooms, making them perfect for a family or a group of friends. Standard rooms are a generous 425 sq ft and feel incredibly spacious.
One of the best features of this property and why I love it so much is the private beach club. Three miles away from the hotel, the Beach Club on Lido Key offers guests a beautiful white sand Gulf of Mexico beach, a heated zero-entry pool and relaxing Jacuzzi, distinctive Sarasota beach activities and Ridley's Porch Beachfront Restaurant. A complimentary shuttle is provided for guests and the Beach Club is exclusive to resort guests and members only. I spent most days at the Beach Club and loved ordering lunch, snacks and drinks (try the Skinny Pina Colada, trust me!) directly from my chair.
The gorgeous beach club, the convenient location that is walkable to the arts, restaurants and bars and the fantastic staff, make the Ritz Carlton Sarasota a perfect beach and city getaway!
