About

The resort is spread over 800 acres, opened in 2004 and has had several refurbishments and additions since. It is located about 30 minutes from the Orlando Airport, 20 minutes from SeaWorld and 15 minutes from Disney World/Disney Springs. They do have a shuttle service that will take you to Walt Disney World with a 24-hour advance notice. The Resort caters to groups and is especially great for golfers and sports teams but plenty of activities for families to enjoy as well.

Hotel Amenities

The resort offers a wide variety of amenities catering to every guest's needs. With two championship 18-hole golf courses, a par three course that illuminates at night, and a newly built Toptracer Range Eagles Edge (which is similar to a Top Golf experience) golf enthusiasts are in for a treat. Families can also enjoy friendly competitions at the 18-hole mini-golf course or explore the grounds on surrey bike rentals. There are multiple pools throughout the resort, including an adult-only oasis, a kids' pool with water slides, and a zero-entry family pool with additional slides. Discover the thrills at Orlando's only resort wave pool, float through the 850-foot lazy river or rent a private cabana for ultimate relaxation. Guests can also enjoy a variety of other sports, including basketball courts, tennis and pickleball courts, and a sports training complex with eight regulation-size fields. End your day unwinding in the 10,000 square-foot Spa! Additionally, the hotel offers over 255,000 square feet of versatile meeting space across 69 rooms, ensuring every event is executed flawlessly.

Rooms

There are a total of 1,005 guest rooms, suites and villas spread across three separate buildings. The newest building which is called the Sunset Lodge & Suites can accommodate multiple groups with up to four connecting rooms. Some of which have kitchenette and separate living areas. The Villas house two and three bedrooms with full kitchens and a villa resort pool.

Need to know

This is a great resort if you have a golf group looking to play multiple courses, or a sports team looking for other activities in between games. Having so many dining options on site makes it an ideal resort if you are not looking to go far. It could also be a great family resort option while visiting the Disney parks as it's a quieter escape but still very close to all the action!
