Unveiling Our Fora Ambassadors Program Designed to Level Up Our Community-First Ethos

When travel advisors join Fora, they join a welcoming community of fellow travel lovers. Community has always been top of mind here, and we’re thrilled to announce the launch of Fora Ambassadors, our latest community-centered initiative. 

“We launched Fora Ambassadors to nurture the one-on-one support and collaborative atmosphere that sets Fora apart, even as we grow,” said Fora’s Co-Founder Henley Vazquez, who herself has been a travel advisor for over 15 years.

Fora Ambassadors are seasoned Fora Advisors who foster engagement amongst our community through online interactions, trend reporting and user feedback. Fora HQ intentionally selected them based on their passion for community and active eagerness to support others within Fora. They’re natural mentors.

“Being an Ambassador makes you feel connected to the mission of what Fora is all about. It's a way to help build the community feel by helping others along the way,” Fora Ambassador Amy LaGrow-Rogers shared.

Ambassadors play a crucial role in helping newer advisors feel welcomed, something Fora Ambassador Angela Marini cited as one of the biggest value-adds of the program.

Rick Szeto agreed: “My fave part about being a Fora Ambassador is being a resource to other advisors; I love passing along the knowledge I've accumulated along the way.”

Robert Love, another Fora Ambassador, also noted there’s great value in “knowing that there is someone just like you in the community ready and willing to help you be successful.”

Fora Ambassadors also help foster connections amongst fellow advisors and bridge the gap between our growing advisor community and Fora HQ. They experience and test trainings before we launch them to our broader network, flag pain points they’ve noticed and report on larger trends. 

Additionally, Fora Ambassadors are extremely active in Forum, our community app. The good-vibes-only platform is filled with everything from trip feedback and destination advice to training information and exclusive partner promotions. It’s a collaborative space that uplifts and inspires. 

“Forum is a goldmine of invaluable information I wish I'd had access to when I first ventured into the travel industry,” said Fora Ambassador Nancy Vuletic. “The most rewarding aspect is the ability to provide professional guidance or direct advisors to experts who can help answer their questions. Knowing that my industry experience is benefiting new advisors is incredibly fulfilling.”

Ambassadors fact-check Forum posts, moderate conversations, refresh outdated information as well as streamline and organize all the knowledge the app contains (which will only increase as Fora grows).

Community will always be one of Fora’s core tenets, and Fora Ambassadors will strengthen and fortify this foundational value. 

“It's like a little ‘Fora Fabulous Feel,’” Ambassador Gunjan Sharma said, adding how the role “gives me more sense of belonging in this amazing community.”
