The Place Firenze FAQs
The Place Firenze is located on Florence's Renaissance-era Piazza Santa Maria Novella, with views of its namesake basilica. Plus, it's only a few minutes' walk from the train station. Other top Florence sights, like the Duomo and Ponte Vecchio, are also within walking distance.
The 20 rooms and suites at The Place Firenze are composed of seven room types, with an average of only five rooms per floor. The Duomo Rooftop Loft, Panoramic Loft and Junior Suite occupy the top floor and, together with the Santa Maria Novella Master Suites, offer the best views of the Piazza Santa Maria Novella. Executive suites, deluxe rooms and superior rooms are also available, offering views of the internal courtyard.
The Kitchen & Bar is the main dining venue — which features both an indoor space and an outdoor terrace with piazza views — and is open all day. The rooftop bar Alcove also provides stunning views of the Duomo. For special occasions, additional spaces like the Glassyard can be reserved. Or consider, the four-course flambé dinner, an experience prepared in front of guests.
