This 12-room boutique hotel invites travelers to slow down and enjoy the Tuscan lifestyle in Montepulciano. Originally a 17th-century farmers' dwelling, Lupaia was recently restored by its new owners, who also call the property home. Still paying tribute to Lupaia's rustic roots with original wooden beams and stone hearths, the light-filled rooms and suites have updated luxury furnishings and sprawling views of the valley below. The traditional open kitchen serves Tuscan meals that highlight the season and the bounty of the on-site gardens.

All 12 rooms and suites are a romantic mixture of rustic and luxury, historic and modern. Each one is unique. For example, the Deluxe Cigno room has a mezzanine hayloft, the Grand Suite Vigna has an outdoor shower, the Suite Oliva has a private terrace and the Junior Suite Orto has a cozy hammock.
In addition to its restaurant and outdoor terrace, Lupaia also has everything you need for a leisurely Tuscan retreat: a wine and cocktail bar, an infinity pool with heated jacuzzi, in-room massage and beauty treatments by appointment, a wine tasting room, e-bikes and mountain bikes, a library, hammocks and board games.
