Accor Preferred by HERA FAQs
Yes. Accor STEP was recently rebranded to Accor Preferred by HERA.
While you can likely expect things like complimentary room upgrades and priority treatment at participating HERA hotels and resorts, perks vary by property. Your Fora Advisor will be happy to detail current benefits at your desired destination.
There are dozens of brands under HERA, including Sofitel, Tribe, Ibis, Rixos, 21c, Pullman, Swissôtel, Raffles, Mondrian, Mövenpick, Orient Express, Angsana, Hipark by Adagio, FAENA, Banyan Tree, Hyde, Novotel, Fairmont and SLS.
Most hotels under HERA participate in the Accor Preferred by HERA program.
If your chosen hotel isn’t part of the program, though, don’t worry. Your Fora Advisor will still make sure you get the best rates and perks, possibly through alternative programs like Virtuoso.
Virtuoso is a third-party preferred partner program offering reservation perks at hundreds of hotel brands around the world, whereas Accor Preferred by HERA only offers perks at HERA hotels.
Both programs offer similar benefits, but specifics vary from hotel to hotel. The advantage of booking with a Fora Advisor is that they’ll make sure you get the best available perks and rates, according to your preferences, no matter what.
Accor Live Limitless (aka ALL) is the brand’s guest loyalty program. This is a separate program from Accor Preferred by HERA, but you can still earn Live Limitless points on Accor Preferred by HERA reservations.
Simply connect with a Fora Advisor and they’ll handle the rest. It’s hassle-free — and you get amazing perks.
No. The Accor Preferred by HERA rate is actually equal to the brand’s best available rate. This rate cannot be booked directly.
Possibly. Minimum stay requirements vary by hotel. Your Fora Advisor will be happy to provide details.
Accor Preferred by HERA reservations are free to book through Fora. In fact, advisors rarely charge their clients for any hotel reservations (our FAQ page covers this in more detail).
Accor Preferred by HERA is a preferred partner program, so it’s only available through travel advisors belonging to invited agencies like ours. And no, only some travel advisors have the privilege of offering Accor Preferred by HERA rates.
Travel agencies can’t buy their way in — they have to be invited (like Fora).
You’ll pay the hotel directly for Accor Preferred by HERA bookings. There’s no need to pay your Fora Advisor. Although there may be exciting extras your advisor can offer, like unique, curated experiences.
Booking through Fora means that travelers are the top priority when staying at any HERA hotel, regardless of whether it participates in Accor Preferred by HERA. You’ll be given VIP status and top-tier perks — always at the best rate available.
