Curator’s statement
I vividly recall my first international soccer match back in 2011. It was a thrilling Champions League encounter between Tottenham Hotspur and AC Milan at White Hart Lane. The electric atmosphere, the passionate chants and the sheer intensity of the game left an indelible mark on me. Since then, I’ve attended matches involving EPL teams both in the United States and abroad, but nothing quite compares to being “over the pond” in London to witness a Premier League game. Whether you are a Manchester United, Manchester City (ManCity), Liverpool, Arsenal, or Chelsea fan, let’s explore how you can make this unforgettable experience a reality.

Things to do in England
Which English Premier League teams can you attend?
You’re in luck! You can attend matches between any English Premier League teams, but the most accessible games are typically in London, Manchester or Liverpool. Here are the recommended home team games to consider:
Brentford FC – Brentford Community Stadium – London
Chelsea FC – Stamford Bridge – London
Everton – Goodison Park – Liverpool
Liverpool FC – Anfield – Liverpool
Manchester United – Old Trafford – Manchester
Manchester City – City of Manchester Stadium (Etihad Stadium) – Manchester
Tottenham Hotspur – Tottenham Hotspur Stadium – London
Planning Your EPL Match Experience
Duration: If you’re planning to attend a match in either London or Manchester, consider a three or four night stay. EPL matches typically take place on Saturdays or Sundays, with some midweek fixtures. Arriving on a Thursday allows ample time for adjustment, relaxation and sightseeing.
Tickets for attending an English Premier League match
Packages: As a travel
advisor, I specialize in packages that include both tickets and
accommodation. Whether you’re looking for run-of-the-mill tickets or
premium options with padded seats, lounge access and pre/post-match
amenities, I’ve got you covered. It's important to know that you cannot just buy tickets to an English
Premier League match. You must be a member, for most clubs, the tickets are
sold to members only. A member is equivalent to a season ticket holder in
the United States.
You can certainly purchase a ticket through a 3rd party, but make sure the
3rd party is trusted and authorized.
For the tickets that I can provide as a travel advisor, the tickets are
through authorized resellers and trusted suppliers.
Independent Tickets: If you prefer to purchase tickets separately, I can also assist you in securing authorized dealer tickets.
Where to Stay: Hotel recommendations vary by city, but rest assured, I’ll curate a package that includes fantastic three to five star hotels within your budget and comfort range.
Things to know
Fan Etiquette: A crucial tip — DO NOT attend a game if you’ll be rooting for the opposing team. Whether written or unwritten, the rule is clear — no opposing fan gear and no cheering for the rival team. Safety comes first. If you’re a Liverpool fan, consider attending a Liverpool game at Anfield in Liverpool.
Enjoy the passion, the camaraderie and the thrill of English Premier League football! ⚽🏟️🔥
