Day 1 - History and Highlights
Start your day with a caffeine kick at Cuban Coffee Queen Waterfront. Try a café con leche (iced) or cortadito and grab a hearty Cuban Mix breakfast sandwich to fuel your adventures.
Delve into history at the Truman Little White House, where guided tours offer fascinating insights into President Harry S. Truman's life and times.
Head to Blue Heaven for a memorable lunch in a lush garden setting. Indulge in their seafood specialties and save room for a slice of their famous key lime pie.
Visit the Ernest Hemingway Home and Museum to learn about the legendary author and meet the famous six-toed cats. Entry tickets are payable only in cash, so plan to pay in advance.
Snap a photo at the iconic Southernmost Buoy, marking the southernmost point in the continental US (though be prepared to wait in line to get that snapshot).
For dinner, savor authentic Cuban cuisine at El Siboney. Their Puerco asado – tender, flavorful roast pork — is a must-try (and make sure to say yes to the side of Cuban bread).
Day 2 - Culinary Delights and Nightlife
For lunch, enjoy the casual charm of B.O.’s Fish Wagon. Try their famous cracked conch for a true taste of Key West. Be prepared, they are cash only.
Indulge in a sweet treat at Kermit’s Key West Key Lime Shoppe. Their chocolate-dipped key lime pie on a stick is the perfect blend of tart and sweet.
In the evening, head to Garbo’s Grill at Hank’s Hair of the Dog Saloon for a dinner packed with flavor. The Korean BBQ Tacos are a standout.
Unwind with a frozen drink at Fogarty's and the Flying Monkeys Saloon on Duval Street. Their extensive cocktail menu is perfect for cooling down and soaking in the island vibe.
End your night at Captain Tony’s Saloon, a historic bar with a lively atmosphere. Enjoy a drink and take in the stories and signatures that fill this legendary haunt.
Day 3 - Iconic Eats and Sweet Farewells
Kick off your day with a delicious Cuban sandwich at Sandy’s Cafe, a local favorite known for its mouth-watering creations.
Begin your final day with a visit to Sloppy Joe’s Bar. Enjoy the vibrant atmosphere that has made this spot a Key West staple.
For a midday snack, savor the crispy, golden conch fritters at Conch Shack. It’s a perfect way to enjoy local flavors as you explore Old Town.
Wrap up your culinary adventure at Mattheessen’s. Known for their giant cookies and delicious key lime pie, it’s the perfect place to grab a sweet treat before heading home.
