Day 1: Arrival & Downtown Exploration

Buildings of Nashville's downtown during the daytime.

Dive into downtown Nashville's vibrant atmosphere, but don't just stick to the main streets. If you have a car, spend some time exploring the different neighborhoods. Visit spots like Music Row, 5Points, the Gulch and 12 South as well as Broadway.

Lunch at Hattie B's: There are a few locations to try, but I suggest hitting the Broadway location. The hot chicken is a must-try - but don't be afraid to ask for mild and get some hot sauce on the side. If you're up for spicy, try the "Shut the Cluck Up" spicy chicken for a true Nashville experience, but be prepared — it's not for the faint of heart!

Afternoon Shopping: While browsing the chic shops in the area, keep an eye out for local boutiques like White's Mercantile for unique finds.

Insider Tip: If you're a fan of vintage vinyl, make sure to stop by Third Man Records in the SoBro neighborhood. You might even catch a live recording session!

Dinner at Edley's BBQ: Don't miss their famous brisket or pulled pork, and be sure to try their array of house-made sauces for an extra kick. The Mac is a good side, and the banana pudding makes for the perfect dessert.

Nightlife: After dinner, venture off the beaten path to East Nashville's Five Points area for a more laid-back, local nightlife scene. Check out The 5 Spot for live music or Duke's for some classic dive bar vibes.

Day 2: 12 South & Arrington Winery

A thriving vineyard under a blue sky.

Morning Brunch at Buttermilk Ranch: Arrive early to beat the crowds and indulge in their mouthwatering biscuits and gravy. Insider Tip: After brunch, take a stroll down 12 South Avenue and keep an eye out for the "I Believe in Nashville" mural for a quintessential photo op.

Late-morning Shopping: Explore the boutiques in 12 South, like Draper James or Imogene + Willie for stylish souvenirs.

Insider Tip: For a unique shopping experience, check out the local artisans at the Nashville Farmers' Market. You'll find everything from handmade jewelry to locally sourced honey.

Afternoon Wine Tasting at Arrington Winery: Enjoy a leisurely afternoon sipping on wine while taking in the scenic views of the vineyards. Pack a picnic to enjoy on the winery grounds, or order a cheese board on the property. Many locals swear by pairing Arrington's wines with a spread of artisanal cheeses and charcuterie.

Dinner at Acme: Opt for a table on the rooftop for panoramic views of the Cumberland River as you dine on Southern-inspired dishes.

Honky-Tonk Night: After dinner, dive into the heart of Nashville's honky-tonk scene on Lower Broadway. For some of the best live music, you have to check out Kid Rock's Big Ass Honky Tonk & Rock 'n' Roll Steakhouse.

Day 3: Gulch Brunch & Line Dancing

A red, frozen alcoholic beverage, with a salt-coated rim and topped with a lime wedge.

Brunch at Biscuit Love: Get there early to avoid the lines and indulge in their famous bonuts (biscuit donuts) paired with a signature mimosa.

Insider Tip: While waiting for your table, snap a photo of the iconic "Nashville" wings mural located just around the corner.

Morning visit to the Country Music Hall of Fame: Dive into the history of country music and don't miss the rotating exhibits featuring some of Nashville's biggest stars. Maybe you'll get lucky with a famous visitor.

Lunch at the Assembly Food Hall: With options ranging from Nashville hot chicken to sushi burritos, there's something for everyone in your group.

Insider Tip: Grab a seat on the outdoor patio area to enjoy views of downtown Nashville while you dine.

Afternoon Line Dancing at Stompin' Grounds: Channel your inner cowgirl and learn a few line dances from the pros. Don't worry if you're a beginner, the instructors are patient and welcoming to dancers of all skill levels. Plus, you can take your skills to the dance floor later to keep practicing!

Dinner at Casa Rosa: Indulge in Tex-Mex cuisine and vibrant margaritas at this lively spot in Midtown. They have live music on the ground and rooftop levels, and a stellar DJ in the restaurant, which keeps the whole place going for an unforgettable experience.

Evening Options:

After dinner, keep the party going with some classic honky-tonk hopping. Hit up iconic spots like Tootsie's Orchid Lounge or Legends Corner for live music and energetic crowds. If you're up for a change of scenery, venture to Printers Alley for a more intimate vibe. Places like Skull's Rainbow Room or Bourbon Street Blues and Boogie Bar offer a cozy setting and fantastic live performances.

If you're in the mood for a more laid-back evening with breathtaking views, why not head to one of Nashville's rooftop bars? Sip on handcrafted cocktails and nibble on delicious small plates while taking in the stunning skyline. For top-notch rooftop vibes, check out L27 Rooftop Lounge at The Westin Nashville or LA Jackson at the Thompson Nashville. It's the perfect way to unwind and soak in the magic of Music City from above.

Day 4: Brunch & Departure

A plate of three freshly prepared spring rolls, topped with green herbs and two small portions of a red dipping sauce on the side.

Brunch at The Hampton Social: Treat yourself to their famous frosé and indulge in coastal-inspired dishes like avocado toast or lobster rolls. They make a to-die-for crab cake Benedict, and you need to get the monkey bread for the table.

Optional Tour of the Grand Ole Opry: If time allows, take a behind-the-scenes tour of the Grand Ole Opry to learn about the iconic venue's storied history. Keep an eye out for surprise guest appearances or impromptu performances by country music legends during your tour.

Departure: Bid farewell to Music City and head home with cherished memories of your unforgettable girls' trip.
