Hike the Cliffs
When visiting the Cliffs of Moher, hiking along the cliff paths is highly recommended. The cliffs stretch for about 15 miles, but most visitors choose to explore a portion of either the northern or southern trail. Both trails offer stunning views but can be treacherous in certain areas, so caution is advised. However, numerous viewing points and a visitor center make the cliffs accessible to everyone.
Savor a Guinness at a Local Pub
After a day of exploring the cliffs, there's nothing like enjoying a fresh pint of Guinness at a local pub. The nearby town of Doolin, just a short distance from the visitor center, boasts several charming Irish pubs.
Walk the Burren
Just north of the Cliffs of Moher lies the Burren, a unique region designated as a UNESCO Global Geopark. Renowned for its rocky landscape, rich biodiversity and archaeological sites, the Burren is best explored on a guided walk or bike tour.
