Day 1 - Baltimore, MD

Day to night in the Inner Harbor of Baltimore.

Baltimore, MD - a few things to see

The Inner Harbor is a well-known historic landmark in Baltimore. One of the oldest seaports in the United States. You can take a water taxi between the Inner Harbor and Fell’s Point. Fell’s Point is the old harbor quarter, where ships were once built. It has been restored making it a great area to spend a few hours enjoying the cafes, restaurants, and markets.

Outside of Baltimore, check out the Guiness Brewery. For as low as $19, take a group tour of the Baltimore Experimental Brewery where a guide will talk about the history and heritage of Guinness and the site. Check out the inside of the innovation brewery to learn about the brewing process.

Day 2- Atlantic City

Atlantic City, famed for its vibrant casinos, iconic boardwalk, and seaside attractions.

The Quarter at Tropicana is a three-story streetscape that echoes the exotic splendor of Old Havana.
Spend the morning browsing the high-end brand-name stores
Head to the Blue Mercury Spa for a few hours of pampering.
The Boardwalk is the most well-known and popular attraction in Atlantic City. Most of the major “to-do”s are near the main four-mile-long stretch of wood originally built in 1870. Atlantic City's Entrance to the Stars is akin to Hollywood's Walk of Fame. Here you can find handprints from celebrities.. Head over to Steel Pier Amusement Park for a trip back in history.
Fralinger’s Salt Water Taffy - Founded in 1885 and hasn’t changed much since. There are many flavors, and you can also indulge in nostalgic treats like fudge, macaroons, and candied pecans.
The Knife & Fork Inn was Founded in 1912 and has recently been restored to its original grandeur with mahogany wood, a sweeping staircase, hand-painted ceilings, and beautiful dining rooms.
Caesars Atlantic City Casino for a Vegas experience. This Roman and Ancient Greek-themed casino offers extensive dining options such as the Gordan Ramsay Pub & Grill, KWI Restaurant and Noodle Bar, and Nero’s Italian Steakhouse.
Bally’s Beach Bar offers drinks, food and live music until 3:00 am.

Day 3 - Chincoteague

Atlantic City, New Jersey → Cape May, New Jersey | 52 min (48.3 mi)

9:30 am Ferry booked - Cape May Terminal - 1200 Lincoln Blvd, North Cape May, NJ
1.5 hours by car ferry, $50 for car and tickets. Park your car and enjoy the ride. Sit on the top deck and get some beautiful views of Delaware Bay. Look for the local wildlife.

Arrive in Lewes, DE → Assateague, Maryland | 1 hour

Assateague National Seashore National Park, Visit the wild ponies! Located on Assateague Island, which is a National Park Seashore. Drive to the seashore and see the ponies that are living wild, and walk around the area. Note: The best time to see the Assateague Island horses is from late April through October. 300 ponies live on the island. You cannot drive between the MD and VA sides of the park.

Chincoteague is a town on the island of the same name. An idyllic slow-paced town, to take a break from the busy day-to-day. Check out Museum of Chincoteague Island for Oyster-industry artifacts. Veteran’s Memorial Park has a pier and water views. You can book a kayak tour if that is more up your alley.
The Historic Main Street Merchants - check out the local shops and grab your souvenirs.

Day 4- Virginia + D.C.

Chincoteague Virginia → Virginia Beach Virginia | 2 hr (105 mi)

Virginia Beach offers 28 miles of sandy public beaches. Much like Atlantic Beach, there is also a wide boardwalk with dozens of hotels right on the beach.
Rent a pedal bike to ride down the boardwalk
Lunch, pop over to Cactus Jacks.

Virginia Beach Virginia → Williamsburg, Virginia | 1 hr (60.3 mi)

Williamsburg was the capital of the Virginia Colony from 1699 to 1780 and played a significant role in the American Revolution. It forms the “Historic Triangle” together with Jamestown, a national historic area, and Yorktown, which can all be explored in one day.. In the heart of Colonial Williamsburg, you will find a living history museum where actors in period costumes depict daily Colonial life in the streets, stores and workshops.

Day 5 - Washington, D.C.

The Washington Monument is an obelisk on the National Mall in Washington, D.C.

Get a hop on hop off tour, and explore the nation's capital. This can take as much or as little time as you’d like.
Head to one of the many free Smithsonian Museums. Take a walk down the National Mall hitting all the famous memorials. Hit the Washington Memorial then climb the steps to the Lincoln Memorial. If you have time, see the Declaration of Independence at the National Archives Museum.

Leave Washington, D.C. → 1 hour back to Baltimore
