Need to know
Purchase an MTL Passport and Metro Card. The MTL Passport offers incredible value, granting access to top attractions and the convenience of unlimited metro travel. Perfect for exploring the city with ease.
I visited Montreal from November 30 to December 4, 2024. Temperatures were in the 30s, with light snow falling intermittently on two days. The weather was mild enough to wear a sweater dress for dinner, and while I packed winter boots, they weren’t necessary since the streets were clear of snow. Be sure to bring essentials like a beanie, scarf, gloves and a thick winter coat, and don’t forget comfortable walking shoes! Exploring the city involves plenty of walking and using the metro, so make sure to track your steps — you’ll rack up quite a few!
