Places to eat & drink in Germany
Hofbräuhaus München: Easily the most famous Biergarten in the world, Hofbräuhaus is a magnificent 3-floor beer hall built in the 16th century. The food is just as incredible as the beer!
Augustiner-Keller: Located a short walk from Munich's central station is the Augustiner-Keller. This is an incredible Biergarten, always full of laughter, incredible food and incredible beer. If you are lucky enough to travel during the spring, don't forget to try the Spargelsuppe (Asparagus soup!)

Cotidiano Gärtnerplatz : A great place to have brunch or lunch! Cotidiano has a diverse menu with options for everyone. Great for those who have dietary restrictions, as well as for friends who do not.
Need to know
Though Munich is a fantastic place to travel year-round, there are perks to visiting in either the spring or the fall! Visit in September and experience the world-famous Oktoberfest or visit in the spring and experience a more low key favorite, Frühlingsfest. These fests are what Munich is truly famous for, and there is a reason! The Theresienwiese is filled with lights, music, rides and beer tents. Grab a dirndl or some lederhosen, or go as you are and enjoy!
