Day 1: Santiago de Compostela & Casa Beatnik

After Santiago de Compostela, check into Casa Beatnik, a charming retreat surrounded by vineyards and fabulous views of the valley below. With stellar amenities, including a pool, sauna/spa, top-notch on-site dining and even yurts in addition to suites for accommodations, it’s the perfect spot to relax and recharge.
In the evening, enjoy a drink at the hotel’s bar before dinner at Tribu, the property’s celebrated in-house restaurant with limited seating. Here, you’ll enjoy a contemporary twist on traditional Galician flavors — a perfect introduction to local cuisine.
Day 2: Albariño Tastings and Cambados
Start your morning with an espresso and a slice of house-made bizcocho at Aquisgran Café in Cambados. This cozy bakery is the perfect local spot for a laid-back start to the day before starting your albariño tastings (just don’t admit to the wineries you’re drinking coffee before tasting).
Your first stop is Bodegas del Palacio de Fefiñanes, one of the oldest albariño producers in the region. Reservations are required, so be sure to make an appointment by email.
For lunch, visit a local favorite, Posta do Sol in Cambados, where you can savor fresh Galician seafood while enjoying coastal views. In the afternoon, continue your wine journey with a tasting at Adegas Albamar. This is a fantastic winemaker known for its biodynamic and organic albariño production. Wrap up your day by heading back to Casa Beatnik to enjoy a lovely evening in the vineyard.
Day 3: Relaxation at Casa Beatnik & Lunch at O Balado
Enjoy a relaxed morning at Casa Beatnik, soaking up the tranquil atmosphere and taking in the views. Spend some time at the property’s pool or unwind in the sauna, making the most of the serene surroundings.
For lunch, head to O Balado, a fantastic, no-frills farm-to-table restaurant that’s just a short drive away. They focus on organic, locally sourced ingredients, creating seasonal dishes that highlight Galicia ’s culinary richness. Be sure to make a reservation via WhatsApp in advance.
In the evening, treat yourself to some bites at Casa Beatnik’s other restaurant, Bambola, which offers Mediterranean and Galician flavors.
Day 4: Vigo, Pontevedra & a Michelin-Starred Dinner
Today, venture out to explore the vibrant city of Vigo. Begin with lunch at Morrofino Taberna, a popular spot for Galician-inspired dishes with a modern twist. Make a reservation as it fills up fast, especially during lunchtime.
After lunch, head to Soutomaior Castle, a stunning medieval fortress surrounded by expansive gardens. Stroll through the rooms filled with historical relics and enjoy panoramic views of the Galician countryside from the castle walls.
For dinner, make your way to Pontevedra to dine at Restaurante Casa Solla, a Michelin-starred restaurant that offers an inventive tasting menu focused on seasonal, local ingredients. Reservations required.
Day 5: Albariño Wineries & Seafood Delights
Get ready for another day of wine and seafood! Begin with a tasting at Bodegas Vionta, which has sweeping views of the Galicia coastline from its tasting room. Make an online reservation to ensure your spot, where you can choose to have local snacks paired with the varietal selections.
Next, head to Marisquería D'Berto for lunch. Known for freshly caught shellfish and expertly prepared dishes, this local favorite is another must-visit for seafood lovers. Reservations are recommended.
