Day 1: Arrival in Èze

  • Fly into Nice Airport, rent a car for the week and drive to Èze (about 30 minutes by car).

  • Arrive in Èze: Settle into your accommodation in this picturesque medieval hilltop village.

  • Explore Èze: Wander through the narrow, winding streets of this charming village. Visit the Fragonard Perfume Factory, one of the oldest perfumeries in the region, and take a walk up to Èze Village’s Exotic Garden for spectacular views of the Mediterranean.

  • Dinner: Enjoy a meal at Château Eza or La Taverne d’Antan for a taste of local cuisine.

Day 2: Èze to Monaco

  • Morning: Take a scenic drive or bus ride to Monaco (about 30 minutes).

  • Explore Monaco: Visit the Prince’s Palace, Monaco Cathedral and the Oceanographic Museum. Don’t miss the Casino de Monte-Carlo, even if just for a stroll through the opulent surroundings.

  • Afternoon: Walk around the Old Town (Le Rocher) and enjoy views from the Exotic Garden of Monaco.

  • Evening: Return to Èze for dinner.

Day 3: Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat day trip

  • Morning: Drive or take a bus to Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat (about 30 minutes from Èze).

  • Explore the Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild: Spend a few hours at this stunning villa and its gardens, which overlook the sea. It’s one of the most beautiful attractions on the Cap-Ferrat Peninsula.

  • Walk the Coastal Path: After the villa, take the Sentier du Littoral, a coastal walking path with stunning views of the Mediterranean.

  • Afternoon: Relax at one of the beach clubs on Cap-Ferrat like Plage de Passable. Have a fantastic refreshing seafood lunch after soaking up all the sun.

  • Evening: Head back to the hotel to freshen up, then head down to Nice for a fantastic French dinner in the city. Try a classic bistro like Bistrot d'Antoine or La Rossettisserie. Stroll through the Old Town (Vieux Nice), and visit Place Masséna and the Promenade des Anglais before dinner.

Day 4: Wine tasting day – rosé wineries of the Côtes de Provence

  • Morning: Set out early to explore the Côtes de Provence wine region, renowned for its rosé wines. Head towards Bellet, a small but notable wine region in the hills above Nice.
    Visit the Domaine de Toasc or Château de Crémat, where you can taste their exceptional rosé wines and learn about the local wine production methods.

  • Midday: Head towards La Londe-les-Maures in the Var department, another region known for producing exquisite rosé wines. You can visit Domaine Sainte-Marie or Domaine des Masques for tastings.

  • Afternoon: Continue exploring more vineyards, perhaps ending the day at Domaine de la Brigue, where you can enjoy a more intimate, less touristy experience.

  • Evening: Return to Èze for a relaxed evening and dinner.

Day 5: Antibes & Cannes

  • Morning: Check out of Èze accommodation and head to Antibes (about 45 minutes from Èze) a historic town known for its old town and the Picasso Museum. Start with a visit to the Picasso Museum in the Château Grimaldi and then wander the cobblestone streets, visit the Marché Provencal and check out the port, where luxury yachts dock.

  • Midday: Have lunch in Antibes, perhaps at a seaside café, and enjoy the vibrant atmosphere.

  • Afternoon: Continue your journey to Cannes, famous for its film festival. Stroll down the Boulevard de la Croisette, visit the Palais des Festivals, and take in the glamour of the city. Stop for a drink and relax at Marea to enjoy gorgeous views of the Mediterranean.

  • Evening: Head to Saint-Tropez and check into new accommodation. Have a relaxing dinner at the hotel after a long day of exploring.

Day 6: Saint-Tropez & nearby villages

  • Morning: Start your day by visiting the Citadelle de Saint-Tropez, which offers panoramic views of the town and surrounding area. Next, check out the Musée de l’Annonciade, a museum showcasing early 20th-century art.

  • Midday: Enjoy lunch at one of the beach clubs along the Pampelonne Beach, like Nikki Beach or Tahiti Beach. Soak up the sun and enjoy the stunning beach scene.

  • Afternoon: Take a short drive to Ramatuelle, a quaint village surrounded by vineyards and offering spectacular views of the Mediterranean. Wander the narrow streets and enjoy the quiet charm.

  • Evening: Return to Saint-Tropez for an evening at one of the renowned beachfront restaurants or cocktail bars, such as Le Sénéquier for sunset views.

Day 7: Explore Bormes-les-Mimosas, rosé tastings & return to Saint-Tropez

  • Morning: Depart for Bormes-les-Mimosas. Start your day early and drive from Saint-Tropez to Bormes-les-Mimosas (about 40 minutes). As you arrive, take in the charm of this hilltop village, wandering through the cobbled streets and admiring the colorful buildings and flowers.

    • Explore Bormes-les-Mimosas: Visit the old village, explore its narrow streets and, if you have time, stop by Fort de Brégançon, the former presidential retreat.

  • Midday: Rosé wine tastings in the Bormes-les-Mimosas area. The area around Bormes-les-Mimosas is famous for its Côtes de Provence wine, particularly rosé. It's the perfect time for a leisurely wine-tasting experience. Here are a few top wineries to visit:

    • Domaine du Paternel: Located near the beautiful Cap Bénat, this winery offers amazing views of the Mediterranean and specializes in rosé wine. Take a guided tour and enjoy a tasting with some local delicacies.

    • Château des Sarrins: Situated in the hills above the town, this charming estate offers a great selection of rosé wines. The property is stunning, and you can often enjoy tastings on the terrace with views of the surrounding vineyards.

    • Domaine Saint-Jean: Just a short drive from Bormes-les-Mimosas, this winery produces exceptional rosé, as well as red and white wines. Tasting here is an intimate experience, often hosted by the winemaker.

    • Domaine Ott: Taste their renowned rosé and enjoy a guided tour of the winery and learn about their winemaking process. The estate offers a relaxed, elegant setting, perfect for savoring high-quality rosé while taking in the stunning Provençal landscape. It’s a must-visit for rosé lovers, with locations like Clos Mireille and Château de Selle offering unique experiences.

    • Domaine La Londe: Another excellent choice nearby, known for its well-crafted rosé wines and beautiful vineyard setting.

  • After the tastings, enjoy a leisurely lunch at a vineyard restaurant, such as Le Mas des Masques or La Table du Clos (if open), both serving regional cuisine paired with the estate’s wines.

  • Late afternoon: Return to Saint-Tropez. Begin your journey back to Saint-Tropez (about a 40-minute drive), where you can relax and enjoy your last evening in this glamorous town. If you have time, take a stroll along the Port of Saint-Tropez, soak in the sunset views and enjoy the chic atmosphere of this iconic destination.

  • Evening: Final dinner in Saint-Tropez. For your final night, enjoy a fabulous dinner at one of Saint-Tropez’s top spots. Consider Le Club 55, L'Opéra or La Vague d'Or (for Michelin-starred dining). Afterward, celebrate your last evening with a cocktail at one of the glamorous bars or rooftop lounges, such as Les Toits or Le Bar du Port.

Day 8: Return to Nice for departure

  • Morning: Check out of your hotel and drive back to Nice to return your car and catch your flight home. (About an hour and 20 minute drive by car.)
