Day 1: Embarkation day in Vancouver, Canada

Arrive in Vancouver, Canada: Arrive a day before embarkation to explore this beautiful city. Vancouver is known for its diverse culture, stunning views and outdoor activities. Visit Stanley Park, Granville Island and Capilano Suspension Bridge. Try the classic Canadian poutine — crispy fries topped with savory gravy and fresh cheese curds — you won't be disappointed!
Board the ship: Embark on the ship at the cruise terminal, usually in the afternoon. Norwegian Cruise Line ships like the Norwegian Bliss or Norwegian Joy offer plenty of onboard activities, dining options and entertainment.
Sail away: As the ship departs in the late afternoon or evening, enjoy the beautiful views of Vancouver Harbour, the North Shore Mountains and the iconic Lions Gate Bridge. Don’t forget to snap a few photos of the city skyline as you set sail!
Day 2: At sea

Relax on the ship: Your first day at sea is perfect for exploring the ship. Enjoy the luxurious amenities.
Dining: Try different dining options, from casual buffets to upscale restaurants like Cagney’s Steakhouse or Le Bistro.
Onboard entertainment: Norwegian offers Broadway-style shows, comedy acts and live music, so be sure to check the schedule and plan your evening.
Day 3: Ketchikan, Alaska

Arrival: Ketchikan, known as the “Salmon Capital of the World,” is your next port of call. It’s famous for its totem poles, rainforests and outdoor adventures.
Morning excursion: Visit the Totem Bight State Historical Park or the Totem Heritage Center to learn about Alaska’s indigenous cultures.
Lunch: Enjoy some locally caught seafood at the Alaska Fish House, located by the waterfront. Try the halibut fish and chips or the clam chowder while enjoying views of the harbor.
Afternoon excursion: Walk through town and explore the many shops Ketchikan offers.
Evening: Get back on board to enjoy some live music and a cocktail, then head to a fun, delicious hibachi dinner prepared in front of you by a talented chef.
Day 4: Juneau, Alaska

Arrival: Juneau is the state capital and one of the most scenic stops on your cruise. The ship will dock in Juneau, often by mid-morning.
Morning excursion: A helicopter tour in Juneau is one of the best ways to experience Alaska's breathtaking landscapes from above. With dramatic mountain peaks, massive glaciers and lush rainforests, the aerial views are absolutely stunning and offer a unique perspective on the state's natural beauty. Land on one of the beautiful blue glaciers like Mendenhall or Taku for a chance to step out onto the ice.
Lunch: Head into downtown Juneau for fresh Alaskan seafood — visit Tracy's King Crab Shack for the infamous Alaskan King crab!
Afternoon excursion: Explore downtown Juneau, visiting historic buildings or taking the Mount Roberts Tramway for panoramic views of the city, mountains and coastline. Visit the Red Dog Saloon for a nice cold beer and a step into an old-timey atmosphere with live music.
Evening: Return to the ship for dinner, followed by entertainment onboard.
Day 5: Skagway, Alaska

Arrival: Skagway, a former gold rush town, offers incredible history and outdoor activities.
Morning excursion: Take the White Pass and Yukon Route Railroad for a scenic ride through mountains, glaciers and waterfalls. This historic route takes you into the rugged wilderness and gives you a sense of Alaska’s Gold Rush history.
Lunch: Enjoy a quick bite at one of Skagway’s charming local cafes, or head back to the ship for lunch.
Afternoon excursion: Take a walk through Skagway’s Historic District, visit the Klondike Gold Rush National Historic Park or opt for something more adventurous like dog sledding or a Jeep tour.
Evening: Dinner on board and evening entertainment, including live music, theater performances or a trip to the casino.
Day 6: Scenic cruising through Glacier Bay National Park

Glacier Bay National Park: This day is the highlight of the trip, as you cruise through Glacier Bay National Park, one of the most pristine wilderness areas in Alaska. Keep an eye out for calving glaciers, towering mountains and wildlife such as sea otters and whales.
Onboard activities: Take part in talks and guided commentary provided by naturalists onboard. There will be plenty of opportunities to take photos and marvel at glaciers like Margerie Glacier and Johns Hopkins Glacier.
Relaxation: This is a fantastic day for relaxation and photography, so spend time on deck with a warm drink and watch the glaciers drift by.
Evening: Enjoy dinner and a Broadway-style show or unwind with drinks at one of the ship’s bars.
Day 7: Disembark in Seward, Alaska & explore Kenai Fjords National Park

Morning: Disembark in Seward, a picturesque town nestled between the mountains and the sea. Start your day with a relaxing coffee and quick breakfast at Smoke Shack, a local favorite known for its freshly brewed coffee and delicious pastries. It’s the perfect spot to fuel up before a day of adventure.
Afternoon: Head to Kenai Fjords National Park for an unforgettable tour of its stunning coastal landscapes. Whether you opt for a boat tour, kayaking or a wildlife viewing expedition, the park offers jaw-dropping views of glaciers, fjords and dramatic cliffs.
