Things to do in Belize

Day One: Beach day!

Shake off your flights by spending the day lazing at the beach and figuring out all your activities for the trip. You can pre-book your activities or you can easily set up your excursions through your hotel's concierge onsite if you prefer to wing it for your Belize adventure!

Day Two: Snorkeling or Diving Day

Head out in the morning to begin your adventure on the water. Belize is known for its water sports and the snorkeling and scuba diving are top-notch in the country.

Day Three: Mayan Temples + Cave Tubing at a Natural Park

There is literally so much to do to enjoy the natural settings in Belize, but I think visiting the Mayan temples and cave tubing should be at the top of everyone's list.

Day Four: Beach Day + Sunset Catamaran in the Evening

After a couple busy and active days, take most of the day to relax, or maybe enjoy the spa. Then enjoy a gorgeous sunset catamaran ride and return back just in time for dinner.

Day Five: Last Day

End your trip with one final lazy beach day!

Places to eat & drink in Belize

Chocolate bar on white table.

In addition to the many restaurants onsite at Alaia, there are so many great places to eat and drink in Belize. Here are a few:

  • Belize Chocolate Company - A MUST for chocolate lovers!

  • Estel's Dine by the Sea - A fun spot right on the beach for breakfast lunch OR dinner.

  • Mesa Bistro San Pedro - I particularly recommend this spot for delicious breakfast!

  • Maxie's Restaurant & Lounge - On weekends they have music upstairs. A fun vibe!

  • I and I Reggae Bar

  • Purple Pelican
