Day 1: Granada
Drive from Malaga airport to Granada (1 hour and 45 minutes) and check into your hotel. Once you’re situated, make sure to visit the Cathedral and historic town center. In the afternoon, go to the Alhambra, a Moorish palace, to view its beautiful gardens, and from there you can enjoy the sunset from the Mirador de San Nicola in Albaicin.
Day 2: Cordoba
In the morning it's time to drive to Cordoba (2 hours and 15 minutes). After lunch you'll have time to explore the old town center and the Jewish quarter where you can´t miss the ‘calleja de las flores' – a narrow street full of flowerpots covering its walls.
Day 3: Cordoba
In the morning, visit the Great Mosque of Cordoba – also known as the Mezquita of Cordoba – which is known for being one of the most splendid examples of Moorish architecture in Andalucia. One of the most iconic features of the mosque is the red and white columns on the horseshoe arches. After lunch, drive to Seville (1 hour and 40 minutes).
Day 4: Sevilla
Take a full day to explore, and be sure to visit the Cathedral, Giralda and Royal Alcázar. The Cathedral is the third largest UNESCO World Heritage site, and inside you’ll find the tomb of Christopher Columbus. At the top of the Giralda, you can admire a 360 view of the city. The Alcazar is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is still used as a royal palace today. You will be enchanted by the beauty of its courtyards, tiles and gardens. Tip: book tickets online in advance to skip long lines. If you still have time, you can explore the Santa Cruz neighborhood, which is full of souvenir shops and restaurants.
Day 5: Plaza de España, Sevilla
In the morning, visit the Plaza de España – the most famous square in Seville. This impressive site was designed as a space for the 1929 Ibero-American expo. Along the perimeter of the plaza, there is a 515 meter long canal, which you can travel by boat. After lunch, drive to Ronda (1 hour and 45 minutes).
Day 6: Ronda
While Ronda is famous for having the oldest bullring in Spain, there is much more to the place. For example, the views from the Puente Nuevo overlooking the El Tajo Canyon are breathtaking. After taking in the views, in the afternoon, drive to Marbella and stay at the Anantara to relax (1 hour) or another seaside resort.
The next and final day, spend your time relaxing before driving to Malaga for your flight home.
