I grew up traveling with my family to historical sites in New England. This fueled my love of travel and led me to the United Kingdom, where I was lucky enough to study and live for seven years. With Edinburgh, Scotland as my base, I was able to travel throughout the UK and Europe. Living in a foreign country gave me a fresh perspective on the best spots to visit off the beaten tourist path — to give real insight into the history, food and architecture that make a place worth visiting.
