Yes, it's wonderful to see the sights! Museums, ruins and historic buildings are definitely itinerary-worthy, especially for a first visit. When possible, I go beyond that and do what I call "slow motion travel," where I spend more time in a destination, plugging into the local vibe, experiencing the daily flow and exploring off the tourist track. I may have fewer stops than some, but I come away with an authentic understanding of the places I've been. For a different way to travel, I love my time aboard cruise ships. I've been a small-boat sailor, and I can't get the sea out of my blood!

My friend, my dog, and I were driving from east coast to west coast to relocate me to California from Vermont. We didn’t know for certain where we would end up every night and also didn’t want to deal with finding a hotel at the end of a long day of driving.
Trish was a great help, starting with our stay at Tru by Hilton in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania. She was on call throughout our six-day trip. As soon as we figured out where we’d end up, she found the best pet friendly hotel every night. It was great to be able to just park, get our keys, and head straight to our room. No muss, no fuss!
Though I’m sure that this is not the usual type of travel that Trish arranges, I'm sure that the attention and prompt communications we received from her extend to all her clients. Thanks, Trish, for a stress-free hotel experience all the way across the US!
