Born and raised in the Netherlands and Canada, and now living in California’s wine country, I’ve been captivated by travel ever since I was a little girl. I’m the friend who always has at least one trip on the calendar, with many more on my bucket list. Once a hostel-hopping backpacker, now a boutique-adventurer and mom of two, I’ve carefully curated my travels across 30+ countries, blending cultural immersion, off-the-beaten-path adventures and the perfect balance of luxury and exploration. For instance, I’ve enjoyed a pint at the world’s oldest pub, nestled in a Nabatean tomb rock dating back to 2000 BC, spent a night camping in the third-largest cave in the world and sipped on a bottle of Sauvignon Blanc in the back of an open 4x4 safari Jeep.
