I lived in Paris for a while, try to go back every year and write about it when I am not there via my newsletter on Substack called VIA. I am obsessed with good design (and good lighting!), good coffee (plus points for really yummy almond milk latte), both cheap eats and Michel-starred gems, walking a million steps a day (and stumbling upon new favorite things), asking locals for recos, people-watching, finding interesting exhibitions to visit, vintage shopping, photography and taking a bunch of outfit photos (sorry, husband!)
I try to plan my days in Paris (and other cities) around these things. My favorite airline is Qatar because QSuites is life (but only when my miles allow it!). Otherwise, I'm a non-prissy girl in economy because traveling is all about balance. That's where the best stories are.
