About
Former cruise ship crewmember with a passion for hidden gems and places that tell a story.
Travel style
During the three years I spent as an excursions director on riverboats, I got a front-row seat to the most historic ports across America. From villages of 59 to cities of three million, I learned to seek out the hidden gems: local haunts that showcase the unique history and culture of the destination. Although I'm a planner and nothing makes me happier than organizing my to-do list, I always make sure to leave a little space in my itineraries for spontaneous exploration — bonus points if it leads to shopping and ice cream!
