I've planned field trips for homeschoolers in the Washington, D.C. area for thirteen years. I am passionate about the educational opportunities that come with traveling. The world is your classroom!

Travel style

I'm an Army veteran that has been stationed in some fabulous travel destinations like Monterey, CA and Hawaii. I now homeschool my boys just outside Washington, D.C. We travel all over for not only the change in scenery, but the opportunity to learn about other people, places and history.

I grew up going to Disney World every few years. My whole family are Disney World fanatics and I thoroughly enjoy helping others plan their Disney trips as well!

I'm what they call a "mid-range" traveler- I'm too picky to stay in a low-quality spot just to save some money, but I'm also not about to spend all my money on an over-the-top hotel because I also like to eat well and I need restaurant money. When I travel with my kids, I am not about to stay cramped up in a room that only sleeps four! I much prefer staying somewhere with separate bedrooms and room to spread out.
