I took my first solo trip in May 1989 and was ready to see the world. I enjoy both vacations (laid back, reading a book by the pool) and travel (mostly sightseeing and having adventures in a new location. I like trying new foods and beverages that are local to the area. I don't eat anywhere I could find at home - no fast food or chain restaurants while traveling - except for Waffle House. :-)
