We are not “box tickers” at The Citrine Compass. What do we mean by that? We are not the type to plan a trip to Rome only to spend the entire time waiting in line at The Vatican, fighting other camera-clutching tourists for that perfect shot of Trevi Fountain or shuffling along like cattle at the Coliseum. We don’t rush around seeing every tourist attraction just to tick a box and say we’ve done it. We’re the type that stays in a family-run boutique hotel in the more intimate Roman neighborhood of Trastevere, eats fresh focaccia outside a hole-in-the-wall haunt, gets a private tour of the Colisuem’s underground gladiator tunnels and knows the best flea market to find vintage Missoni. Do you catch our drift? The CC is for the high-end traveler that likes the finer things in life mixed with a dash of adventure. We are for those that aren't afraid to get off the beaten path and experience something new if it will give them a fresh perspective on life and culture. To sum it all up, our travel style is authentic, curated, always hinting towards luxury, occasionally leaning towards wild adventure and always in good taste.

I would give 10 stars if I could! The Citrine Compass is so easy to work with from start to finish! Planning international travel can be a bit stressful but they have found a way to take the stress out and make planning FUN! Kalyn planned a trip for my husband and I to Italy for 10 days with 3 stops and it was seamless! She was so involved and engaged the whole time listening to our preferences, things we wanted to do and see! She offered suggestions for many things which took out all the research for me and allowed me to narrow down on a few things I knew we would love! We had last minute flight changes and she got everything figured out as if it were planned that way from the start! We will be using them here on out for all our trips! We love the CC!!!

Kalyn and her team of tastemakers made our trip to Italy the most incredible experience. HIGHLY recommend using The Citrine Compass if you want to add ease to your planning, and rest assured that you can sit back and enjoy with amazing recs! They went above and beyond in creating a highly curated itinerary and list of recommendations that was fitting for our whole family, and for three kids and four adults with varying tastes and interests it may have been challenging but we had the best experience. Everything suggested felt authentic and not cookie cutter which we loved. Definitely the way to travel!!!

The Citrine Compass, led by the lovely Kalyn, is my new go-to travel must-have! Kalyn was amazing to work with. She helped plan my 40th birthday trip to Cabo with 8 adults and it was beyond perfect. There wasn't a thing she didn't think of, and she was so helpful with bookings, reservations, and helping me make itinerary decisions. She was incredibly in-the-know, super responsive, available via text, and just made the whole process super easy and fun. Such a delight. Not to mention the beautifully designed itinerary I got to print out and give to all of my guests. I am endlessly grateful for her help.
