Travel style
Travel allows us to feel more connected to the world. The best travel is when you can immerse yourself with someone local and experience a destination through their lens — not just the tourist spots. Some of my best travel experiences have been to visit an old friend in their home country. I also encourage getting to know a place through books and films whenever possible, prior to a trip. I prefer to look for local, boutique properties, but there is always a time for larger global brands.
