Caren Strauss

If you offered me 10 stars Caren would get all of them! Caren came highly recommended to me by one of my close friends. When I reached out to her and (vaguely!) explained what I was looking for and the budget I wished to cap at she came up with a variety of offerings. She literally read my mind. Caren was efficient, professional but also warm, kind and I found that she can be cool, calm, collected and solution oriented in emergencies. We were leaving early on Saturday morning and on Wednesday evening I was packing the Passports and saw that my daughter's had expired. As you could imagine, I was hysterical and had no idea on how to quickly resolve the issue. I called Caren (off hours mind you) and she was able to talk me off a ledge and also research and provide instructions on how to expedite the Passport. Although I was skeptical, I followed her directions and ta-da! all worked out. She went above and beyond in all that she did - she provided and suggested different options of what we could do when we were there and also offered to book the car service and make the restaurant reservations. Besides the Passport drama (which was clearly self-inflicted on my side) she made all seamless. Not to mention, she even checked in while we there to see how all was going and if there was anything she may do to make our vacation all the more memorable. I HIGHLY recommend Caren Strauss and give her huge kudos and accolades. A++++

After years of traveling for work but rarely for pleasure, we finally turned that around this month, and we owe it all to Caren at Fora! This was our first-time using Fora, and not our last. When we arrived at the resort we were treated like royalty. As the front desk manager checked us in and explained all the perks and benefits of being a Fora traveler, it was so impressive that the couple behind us in line overheard and asked who our travel advisor was. They made a point of saying they will contact Caren for their next excursion. From breakfast credits to spa credits – the list of trip perks went on. Our room was beyond our expectations. If it was not called a suite, it should be. We had the best view of the city. We took a moment to relax and unpack after a day of travel and just as we were about to venture out to sightsee, we had a knock on the door. Caren had one more trick up her sleeve. We had a beautiful fruit gift basket delivered that we enjoyed throughout our trip that included the most thoughtful and personal note from Caren. To say the trip was phenomenal is an understatement. From A to Z, Caren thought of everything because she not only listened but is extremely intuitive. After only a few emails/calls she got a perfect sense of what we wanted. Even with my many change requests, she offered such well thought out ideas and options to help create an itinerary nothing short of incredible. She researched shows and restaurants that I never would have taken the time to find. We saw those shows and ate at those restaurants, and they were all the best of the best. She captured everything we wanted to do and see. She cared as if it was her own trip. Every detail of our trip ran so smoothly, it flowed like a well-written novel. We will continue to use Caren on all future trips.

I have never worked with a travel agent before. After working with Caren I will never not work with her again for any trip I take. Caren’s ability to move quickly — we called her late in our planning process — was impressive. She was responsive; she got responses quickly. She was thoughtful and creative; she offered her opinion when it mattered and left us alone when it didn't. Most importantly she listened to us. We said we didn't want to be at the tourist hot spots and we weren't. The places we stayed were superb. The tour guides were some of the best. Every vendor we used — kayaking, motor boats, drivers, tour guides — were on time, delightful, and the equipment was first rate. I think what impressed me the most was the flow of the trip — it was perfect — busy and exciting when it should be and quiet and relaxing when it should be. Similarly, we were on land and in the water for tours and activities in a rhythm that just made total sense. There wasn't one thing I would change or one regret. Best trip I have ever had.

We just returned from an incredible trip to Germany and Croatia thanks to Caren! She made the planning experience fun and easy while accommodating all of our preferences. Above all, she listened to what we wanted and made it a reality — finding us wonderful hotels, tour guides, and experiences. Our trip was seamless thanks to her attention to detail and follow up. Caren's insight and guidance was invaluable and I can't wait to work with her again on our upcoming trip to Japan!
