Low-Season, High-Rewards in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico
Curator’s statement

I had the privilege of staying at the gorgeous Pueblo Bonito Blanco all-inclusive resort in September of 2023 for a girls trip. Upon arrival, the staff were extremely welcoming, helpful and attentive. We felt like royalty walking into the grand lobby and even more so when we were upgraded to an ocean view suite. The overall experience exceeded my expectations and I will definitely return to this resort for my next stay in Cabo.

Where You’ll Go

The resort, along with most, is located about 45-minute south of Los Cabos International Airport (SJD). There are two airports in the Los Cabos Region, however, SJD is the major airport for commercial flights. Transportation to the resort can be easily arranged through Pueblo Bonito or by searching for a shuttle service online before your trip. Save yourself time and money and book an airport transfer early so you can get to the resort sooner than later!

When To Visit

As mentioned in the title, traveling during the low season had its perks. Typically, the high season for Cabo is from Mid-October to April due to the temperate weather and whale watching. Although this is a great time to escape the cold winter months, Cabo San Lucas is a great destination all year round. If the higher temperatures of Summer are something you can handle, I highly recommend taking advantage of the slower season from May to September. We booked our trip a little over two months in advance and still snagged a 30% off rate for a 4 night all-inclusive stay in mid-September. There was no catch or lack of quality in any way. It was just simply an amazing deal because of the time of year. It was very hot everyday, close to 100 degrees, but the sky and water could not have been more blue. Luckily for us, ther was not a drop of rain the entire time. Taking breaks in the A/C was a must, but the pool and swimmable Medano beach right in front of the resort kept us plenty cool. The check-in process was quick and the main areas of the hotel were never overly crowded.

What Made This Stay Special

When you stay at Pueblo Bonito Blanco, you have access to their sister hotels. During our stay, we visited Pueblo Bonito Rosé and Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach by complimentary shuttle. This advantage gives you access to more than 20 restaurants and bars in your all-inclusive package. However, you don't have to leave the resort to have a memorable vacation. From the attentive staff, delicious food, gorgeous pool and property, you can sit back and relax with no effort. Steps to the beach and a short ride to the city center, you can discover all the beauty Cabo has to offer from your oceanfront stay.

Need to know

I recommend Pueblo Bonito Blanco Los Cabos Beach Resort to my clients looking for a full-service, boutique experience with casual charm and stunning oceanfront views. Overall, low-season is a great time to travel to save money and enjoy less crowds. Perfect for a girls trip or romantic getaway. Let’s connect and start planning your unforgettable trip to Mexico!
