Location:
The Brehon Hotel and Spa boasts an unbeatable location just minutes from the entrance to Killarney National Park. Offering easy access to scenic trails, lakes and historic landmarks. Nestled along the iconic Ring of Kerry, it’s ideally situated for exploring the best of County Kerry’s natural beauty and charm. Whether you’re hiking through the park, visiting Muckross House or setting off on a scenic drive along the Wild Atlantic Way, The Brehon places you in the heart of it all.

Style and atmosphere:
The Brehon Hotel exudes elegance with a perfect blend of modern luxury and classic Irish charm. From the moment we arrived, the ivy-clad exterior created a storybook welcome. Inside, the grand lobby, with its high ceilings, warm wood finishes and plush seating areas, felt both sophisticated and cozy. The hotel bar, with its plush booths and ambient lighting, became our go-to spot for an evening gin and tonic, a popular drink in Ireland. Outside, a whimsical fairy village adds a touch of enchantment — perfect for a morning stroll or a peaceful break in the afternoon.
Luxury spa experience at Anú Spa:
A highlight of our stay was The Brehon’s award-winning Anú Spa, inspired by the Celtic earth goddess “Anú.” This luxury spa in Killarney is designed for total relaxation, offering an immersive thermal suite experience. The Vitality Suite, included with your stay, features:
A heated 12-meter Vitality Pool with hydrotherapy jets
A hot plunge pool for deep muscle relaxation
An herb-infused sauna for detoxification
A crystal steam room for full-body rejuvenation
A tropical shower to awaken the senses
An ice fountain for a refreshing cool-down
A Kubledusche bucket shower for an invigorating water therapy experience
Rassoul and foot baths to restore balance
These amenities, paired with expert therapists and indulgent spa treatments, made my evening visits to Anú Spa a sanctuary of tranquility.

Dining at The Brehon: A culinary delight:
Dining at The Brehon was equally memorable. Danú Restaurant, one of the best restaurants in Killarney, offers locally sourced Irish cuisine with an elevated twist. Breakfast was a treat! We opted for in-room dining, which was a seamless experience. We placed our order the night before, and the next morning, we enjoyed a beautifully presented platter of fresh, hearty options delivered straight to our room. From morning coffee to evening cocktails, every culinary experience at The Brehon exceeded expectations.

Our Deluxe Room at The Brehon Hotel provided the perfect blend of comfort and sophistication. The spacious room features large windows with breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and greenery. A plush king-sized bed, soft lighting and tasteful decor create a peaceful retreat after a day of adventure. The modern bathroom includes a deep soaking tub and a rainfall shower, ideal for unwinding in the evenings. Thoughtful touches like a Nespresso machine, cozy robes (perfect for visiting the spa!) and high-quality toiletries made our stay feel truly special.

The Brehon Heritage Bedroom, a brand new collection of luxury rooms.
