Bend is a true paradise for outdoor enthusiasts. The city is surrounded by breathtaking natural landscapes. Deschutes River Trail is a scenic path that winds along the river, offering opportunities for hiking, biking and fishing. Shevlin Park, a vast nature reserve, is a haven for hikers, with its network of trails winding through old-growth forests and pristine meadows.

For those seeking a more challenging adventure, Overturf Butte offers a strenuous hike with panoramic views of the Cascade Range as your reward. And if you're up for a day trip, the picturesque Camp Sherman, located just a short drive from Bend. It is a gateway to the Willamette National Forest, where you can explore pristine lakes, cascading waterfalls and lush forests.

Culinary Delights Abound

Bend's culinary scene is a true feast for the senses. From award-winning breweries to innovative eateries, this city has something to tantalize every palate.

Start your day at Jackson's Corner, a beloved local spot known for its hearty breakfast offerings and cozy atmosphere. For lunch, indulge in the flavors of Northern Thai cuisine at Wild Rose Northern Thai Eats, where the authentic dishes are sure to transport your taste buds.

As the sun sets, head to Midtown Yacht Club for a delectable dinner paired with craft beers from their extensive selection. If you're in the mood for something more casual, Hablo Tacos offers mouthwatering Mexican fare in a lively setting.

No visit to Bend would be complete without samplings from the city's famous craft beer scene. Crux Fermentation Project, Boss Rambler Beer Club, Bend Brewing Company and GoodLife Brewing Company are just a few of the must-visit spots for beer enthusiasts. Boss Rambler has funky, hip design, great creative beers and great brewery attire for a souvenir.

For a fancy night out, we love Bos Taurus steak house. This is a must-visit spot to try their wagyu steak, bone marrow and delicious cocktails.
