Sacred Mineral Soaking: Ojo Resorts in New Mexico
Fora’s Take

Visiting Ojo Resorts for a mineral pool soak is a must-do while visiting New Mexico. The ancient healing waters at each Ojo Resort — Ojo Caliente and Ojo Santa Fe — have drawn visitors from far away for centuries, and these high-end resorts offer day passes as well as overnight stays with soaks included. A healing, restorative visit to northern New Mexico has an Ojo Resort stay at its core.

New Mexico has many appealing health and wellness attractions. For a taste of the best — a healing, restorative visit to northern New Mexico — nothing beats a stay at an Ojo Resort. Many first-time visitors become repeat customers, visiting Ojo Santa Fe time and time again on overnight and day-pass stays. Both Ojo Resorts feature mineral pools with mineral content unique to the area, and both resorts feature communal and private tub hydrotherapy options, saunas and on-site specialty spa treatments.

Of course, you can soak in New Mexico's culture in other ways during your visit to this unique state. Head into Santa Fe, Taos or any of the historic towns on the High Road and tour hundreds-year-old churches, view (and purchase) locally made artwork and savor prickly pear margaritas or any number of excellent New Mexico craft beers or wines. You can answer for yourself the state question, “red or green” (chile), or go for both with the ‘yes, and’ answer of “Christmas!” You can see the beginning of the modern immersive art experience at the original Meow Wolf in Santa Fe. Or, you can spend the majority of your time soaking and eating farm-fresh meals at the Ojo restaurants.

However you plan your visit to northern New Mexico, be sure to stay and soak at Ojo Resorts!
