Hotel Review: Four Seasons Hotel Hong Kong
Curator’s statement

The Four Seasons Hotel Hong Kong has been one of the vibrant city’s most luxurious home-away-from-homes for years. For proof, look at any “Best Hotels in Hong Kong” guide, and you’ll be sure to find it at the top where it belongs. This glamorous harbor-front hotel is a wellness, culinary, and highly Instagrammable destination. Featuring mesmerizing views of Kowloon and Victoria Harbour, it has superb service, a luxurious spa, and Michelin-starred restaurants. Upstairs, the recently revamped guest rooms and suites have spa-like bathrooms, heavenly beds, and wide windows with jaw-dropping vistas of the shimmering waters and skyline. Plus, the hotel’s location is supremely convenient. It’s connected to the swanky International Finance Center mall and near the MTR, the ferry piers, and all the best restaurants, bars, and shops in Central.

The spa-like, marble-clad bathroom was gigantic and luxurious.

Year Opened: The hotel opened in 2005 but completed a major makeover in 2022, upgrading and enhancing the guest rooms, suites and sun-drenched lobby area.

The vibe: The “wow factor” is major here. From the impossibly glamorous lobby to the tranquil, sky-high suites, luxury-seeking travelers will feel right at home at The Four Seasons Hotel Hong Kong.

Food: The Four Seasons is more than a hotel—it’s a culinary destination. It boasts eight Michelin stars under one roof, split between four excellent restaurants: three for glamorous French restaurant Caprice; two for Cantonese fine-dining restaurant Lung King Heen; two for fancy Italian eatery Noi; and one for intimate omakase hotspot Sushi Saito. The swanky, see-and-be-seen all-day lounge on the ground floor serves breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, and dinner featuring Western and Asian dishes.

Drink: The über-luxe hotel’s glitzy Art Deco-inspired cocktail bar, Argo, is not to be missed. Located on the ground floor and opened in 2021, the award-winning drinking den serves riffs on classic cocktails with Asian-sourced ingredients.

A view of city skyscrapers light up the night.

Rooms: There are 399 luxurious guest rooms and suites. I stayed in "The Superior Harbour View Suite," and it was exceptional. It was spacious, sleek, and contemporary with the best bed in the world facing floor-to-ceiling windows. There’s really nothing like waking up and falling asleep to dreamy views of the harbor and the Kowloon skyline. Plus, booking a suite gets you access to the hotel’s fabulous 45th-floor Executive Club Lounge, where you can enjoy a complimentary breakfast buffet, afternoon tea, cocktails and more.

Health & Wellness: The hotel is home to a massive outdoor mosaic-tiled pool that overlooks stunning views of the city skyline and the harbor. There’s also a sprawling, divine spa featuring multiple treatment rooms. Ten with their own vitality pools and experience showers, including two individual VIP spa suites. The spa also has Finnish saunas, ice fountains, a crystal steam room, and more. Plus, there’s a big fitness center that’s open 24/7.
